An annual evaluation is a program that examines front-of-house and back-of-house operations annually or bi-annually and takes place over 2-3 weeks through use of an intrusive evaluation format (managers and employees are aware of the evaluators presence).  Evaluators spend 8-12 hours a day evaluating all facets of the business, including employees, product quality, service levels, management, cleanliness, waste, etc. Evaluators monitor key performance indicators to determine and log customer service levels.  Daily performance is relayed to management directly at the end of each day so any problems may be addressed quickly; however the main evaluation goal is to gain an overall picture of business performance and to increase efficiency from year to year.  A variety of standard evaluation techniques are used multiple times then averaged to paint a picture of performance in an annual evaluation.  For example, during the annual evaluation a mystery shopper will visit 4-5 times and an average score will be formed.  That average will then make-up a percentage of the overall performance score.  EEO's goal is to increase all category averages from year to year by helping management implement necessary support systems.  It is only once a relationship is built between EEO and a new client that an annual evaluation program is recommended.  Annual evaluation programs start at $5250.00* USD and are an extremely effective tool for owners and managers to actively respond to issues immediately and increase profitability over the long run.
The cruise line shoppers service is unobtrusive (evaluators remain unknown to all ship level staff members at all times) and is a great way for executives to evaluate the product of their company through the use of qualified outside eyes.  Shoppers evaluate everything from embarkation to disembarkation, including all meals, spa facilities and treatments, shows and entertainment, cabin attendants and accommodations, guest relations staff, shore excursion staff and actual excursions,  sports staff and amenities offered, cruise director and entertainment staff, hospital staff and pursers office, overall cleanliness, friendliness, and efficiency, etc.  Also, the booking process, website, and phone representatives will be evaluated throughout the process as questions arise or are contrived.  Using a qualified cruising expert, EEO offers clients the ability to know exactly what is taking place aboard their vessels.  At this time EEO is only evaluating cruises 11days in length or less and prices start at $750.00* USD.
